瓜拉甘达大象保护中心
瓜拉甘达大象保护中心位于彭亨州。这里是濒临绝种的大象安稳的家，是被遗弃的大象的庇护所。这里专 门向大众提供大象生态保护的资讯，游客可与大象近距离接触如喂食，甚至可以到附近的河流帮大象洗澡。

原住民村落
原住民村落位于瓜拉甘达大象保护中心附近。这里的原住民博物馆展出了当地原住民所使用的原始狩猎武器，用树皮制成的原住民服饰以及传统民乐器等展览品。您可在这里体验到原住民独特的吹管射击，在附近的河流用竹竿抓鱼以及在河流畅游一番。

鹿园
离瓜拉甘达大象保护中心约5分钟车程，鹿园位于原住民村落附近。游客可在这里喂食园内的印度尼西亚鹿(Cervus timorensis)，以及近距离观察它们的生活习性。这个4公顷的鹿园也饲养了鸵鸟和马来熊(Helarctos malayanus), 还种植了多达40余种传统草药的培植园区。

UK Farming Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2003 with just 2 acres of land located in Parit Yaani, Johor Malaysia. Our Jamnapari goats were imported from Indonesia and our initial business involved the production of fresh goat’s milk, goat’s meat and commercializing toiletry products.

In 2006, we obtained the HACCP certification for goat’s milk production and milk production instruments from Japan. Subsequently in 2007 we obtained 130 acres worth of land from Kluang Modern Agriculture Project, and ventured into sheep breeding and producing frozen sheep’s meat which was managed by UK Farm Sdn. Bhd. Now we have approximately 4000 sheep in total.

As part of our expansion plans, we diversified our business in to leisure farm in the year of 2008, which was managed by UK Agrotourism Sdn. Bhd. (UK Agro Resort).

2010年群策群力共同进退DIY饥饿30营 - PANTAI INDAH, KUALA SELANGOR

来自巴生区的奇幻318活动策划小组连同马来西亚世界宣明会，携手合作于8月21日和22日期间举办DIY饥饿30营会. 今年的饥饿30活动主题专注于城市贫困.

奇幻318活动策划小组负责人兼饥饿营营长表示, 很多人为了生计，都涌到城里寻找工作，以为可以为家人、孩子带来更好的生活。但是，由于不能负担城市的生活消费，他们被逼居住在生活环境极差的贫民窟，无法获得最基本的医疗保健、教育机会、工作机会，甚至是一个干净的栖身之地。快速的城市化也带来了种种的城市贫困问题。

这次办营的慨念依然保留了以往的旅游式饥饿营. 借此, 让营员可以边参与活动边增广见闻, 一举两得. 而这次主办单位则选择了一路向北的路线, 拉队到瓜拉雪兰莪的海景度假村 (PANTAI INDAH SEAVIEW RESORT)办营会. 一路上, 工委们都准备了许多的团康活动如看短片, 唱营歌, 学手语, 当然也少不了破冰游戏以促进营员们的关系.

营长说, 营会在第一天就前往瓜雪的地标 - 皇家山走走, 让参与者进一步了解雪兰莪州的历史点滴. 参观之后, 继续前往巴西不南邦渔村进行社区交流与推广饥饿30活动, 也让营员们有机会了解到当地的虾饼和香饼的制作过程.

他说, 营员们必须禁食于固体食物30个小时. 在营会进行时, 主办单位透过许多的活动来教育和灌输营员们城市贫困的课题. 他还说, 为了让营员们有更深入的体验, 所以选择了在海边扎营过夜, 直接感受饥寒交迫的滋味. 除此之外, 营员们也体验到赤脚不穿鞋以及水源不充足的感受.

第二天一大早, 收拾营地过后, 大伙儿便直接前往布特拉室内体育馆参与倒数活动。在活动结束后, 营员们便聚集在DIY饥饿营会的主要赞助商 - 椰花园海鲜餐馆享用简单的解饥晚餐. 主办单位非常感谢椰花园海鲜餐馆以义卖的方式来支持这活动.

日本盆舞会的来源.......
盆舞节不可缺少的是盆舞。在温暖的夜晚,和着大鼓的咚咚声,全村子的人围成一个大圆圈起舞,敬奉及欢迎先人灵魂“重返人间”,让活人和亡魂一同共舞,他们用这种独特方式告慰亡灵,以珍惜眼前的幸福生活。

Bon Odori (meaning simply Bon dance) is an event held during Obon. It is celebrated as a reminder of the gratefulness one should feel toward one's ancestors.

In Malaysia, Bon Odori Festivals are also celebrated every year in Penang and at the Matsushita Corp Stadium in Shah Alam, Selangor. Held mainly to expose locals to a part of Japanese culture, the festival provides the experience of a variety of Japanese food & drinks, art and dance.

为孩子打造无贫城市, Light Up Their Life !

当国家经济起飞之际，国内的大小城市也将开始蓬勃发展。这是自然的进化，也是国家迈入城市化发展的必经之路。
不同国家有不同的城市发展进度，但是约90%发展中国家的人民和政府都尚未准备好迎接这突然激增的都市人口，这些激增的人口多数来自国内其他地区的外坡移民。其后果是高达30-40%的亚洲都市人口居住在贫民窟，当中有40%的居民生存于贫穷底线之下。

城市贫民拥有多种面貌。虽然城市生活让他们有机会找到比较高薪酬的工作，但收入仍然是不够用于支付生活所需的。城市贫民面临着许多生活挑战，例如：

• 不稳定的收入
• 缺乏途径取得便宜的基本设施、社会福利及服务
• 权利受剥夺
• 微弱的社会影响力

基于多数的城市贫民都无法从事粮食生产的工作，2008年所掀起的全球粮食危机持续效应更大大地削减了他们找寻生计的能力。

意识到城市贫民所面临的困境，马来西亚世界宣明会决意将2010年的饥饿30主题着重在“城市贫民”的课题上。

我们的标语是“为孩子打造无贫城市，Light Up Their Life!”。在这五光十色的城市中，活在黑暗的人们正期盼着一线曙光，让我们：

As a country develops and grows economically, so will its cities. This natural progress, known as urbanization, is a sign of potential and growth for a nation and its people.

How fast or slow a city grows differs from country to country but 90% occurs in developing nations where the society and its people are less prepared for the upsurge increase in population, mainly caused by internal migration. The result? 30-40% of the population in Asian cities are living in slums with a poverty level as high as 40% among the slum dwellers

Urban poverty has many faces. While these city dwellers may earn a higher income when work is available, the amount is insufficient given the high cost of living. Among the challenges faced by the urban poor are :

• Unstable income
• Lack and high cost of access to basic services, infrastructure or safety nets
• Violation of rights
• Weak political voice or influence.

Underpinning this is the fact that urban dwellers are generally non-food producers, a situation that further exacerbate their vulnerability as demonstrated in the 2008 Global Food Crisis.

World Vision Malaysia recognizes the plights of the urban poor and has taken up the challenge of focusing on the subject of “Urban Poverty” for 30-Hour Famine 2010.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour was taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people casting their vote for Earth. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from.

SKY TREKKING COURSE

THE COURSE

Little Adventure

This little circuit consists of 15 adventure challenges with difficulty level ranging from “easy“
to “difficult“. The challenges are named after common animals behavior such as “Tupai Terbang“ (Flying Squirrel), “Rangkak Cicak“ (Crawling Lizard), “Jungkit Arnab“ (Hopping Rabbit) and many more. End the activity with the “Selam Badak“ (Diving Hippo) which takes you across a lake to the finishing point. The various challenges is guaranteed to keep the children, and also the less adventurous adults, busy but happy throughout the day.

Time to complete: Approximately 0.5 hour for each round. Each group is entitled to 2 hours (max) of unlimited rounds
Minimum height requirement: 1.1 m
Maximum weight: 100 kg

Big Thrill

This circuit consists of 23 thrilling challenges with various level of difficulty raging from
“easy“ to “very difficult“. With some of the platforms reaching the height of 17 meters, feel the adrenaline while crossing the “Crazy Zig-Zag“ and flying on the “Sky-crawl“ at the Bermuda Triangle. Hold your breath while crossing “The Earthquake“, test your ability to leap at the “Happy Hopper“ and end the adventure with the grand finale, the 100 meters “Wild Revenge“ which will take you to the finishing platform at an exhilarating speed.

Time to complete: 1.5 hours to 2 hours
Minimum height requirement: 1.4 m
Maximum weight: 100 kg

This new circuit is the latest addition to the park and boasts 21 extreme challenges with some platforms reaching the height of 22 meters. *update*EXTREME CHALLENGE open its door to its 1st batch of customers on 23rd May 2009!

Minimum height requirement: 1.5 m
Maximum weight: 100 kg

Jump-start : Have a go at the initiation circuit to familiarize yourself with the activity and you will need to demonstrate your ability to use the PPE in compliance with the safety system in place.

Look Out Point @ Kompleks Pelancongan Menara Tinjau, Jalan Ampang-Hulu Langat, Ampang, Selangor

Look Out Point – Ampang

Look Out Point at Ampang, the coolest place to catch a bird’s eye view of the city. Situated 10 km away from Ampang town, it sits on a slope along the winding road of the Pekan Batu 14-Ampang trunk road. Sometimes it can be pretty cold at night.

Though it was just newly launched around three year, the Look Out Point has already begun to slowly but surely pick up in its popularity. Families and lovebirds hang out at the Look Out Point; some for a brisk upward climb to its observation tower (Menara Tinjau) where you can have a tremendous view of the Kuala Lumpur city. There, viewers can catch a breath-taking view of the entire landscape with unmistakeable landmarks from Menara Telekom in Petaling Jaya to KL Tower, to Petronas Twin Tower.

There is also dining place to have a lunch or dinner with your friends or family. A perfect place to unwind and breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city; without having to leave the city!

旅游式雪邦黄金海岸饥饿营

奇幻318活动策划小组会在22-23/8/2009期间选择短暂挨饿，来交换远方贫苦小孩的一顿温饱。

奇幻318活动策划小组负责人兼饥饿营营长表示：“选择参与饥饿30，只是想为生活在贫困中的人尽点力。我们意识到，在生活中我们可以选择进食或挨饿，但是贫困的人并没有选择。挨饿几乎是他们每天必须面对的事情，有些人甚至不知道下一顿饭是在什么时候。营员只需禁食30小时，小小的牺牲就能使贫困的人及儿童换来一餐温饱。”

参加饥饿30，营员必须禁食于固体食物30个小时，为活在饥饿中的贫穷社群筹款，协助弱势群体摆脱贫穷的恶性循环。营会进行时，主办单位将进行一系列的教育活动，意旨让营员体验及更了解社会议题。今年饥饿30的主题注重于全球粮食危机。

这次办营的慨念依然保留了去年的旅游式沙滩饥饿营的方式, 让营员可以一边参加活动一边旅游增广见闻, 一举两得. 营长说, 我们先会在东禅寺进行饥饿挑战游戏, 然后参观丹绒士拔灵芝园, 之后会在雪邦黄金海岸扎营过夜, 直接让营员体验野外生活. 他还说, 明天一早收拾营地和拜访慈爱福利中心后, 大伙儿会直接前往布特拉体育馆参加倒数活动.

2009年度饥饿30

粮食危机是否真正存在？是的，它存在。
2004年，南亚海啸在11个国家夺走共计225千条生命。当时灾区惨况被大幅度报导，全球为之震惊。 今天，我们所面对的是一场破坏程度绝不亚于南亚海啸的灾难——粮食危机。这一个危机并没有得到广泛重视，但据世界银行估计，这一次的粮食危机正无声无息地把世界1亿人口推向于绝望边缘。 问题慢慢浮现。墨西哥、埃及、印尼、也门、菲律宾、柬埔寨、摩洛哥、塞内加尔、乌兹别克、几内亚、毛里坦尼亚、喀麦隆、孟加拉、布基纳法索、象牙海岸、秘鲁、玻利维亚以及海地已经纷纷出现因粮食短缺而爆发的动乱。 粮食危机是一项无可否认的事实。以下是此项危机的一些具体事实：
问题何在？
粮食危机在短期内恶化到非常严重的地步。
•
相较去年，小麦和白米的价格大涨超过1倍。玉米也涨了66%。
•
世界宣明会与世界粮食计划署携手合作的粮食供应计划，在2008年多花了7亿美金，才能够维持与2007年数量相应的粮食供应。
什么人会遭殃？
穷人。
•
70%的发展中国家是纯粹的粮食进口国，而2008年的粮食价格平均上涨了40%。
•
在发展中国家，粮食花费占了穷人收入的60%到80%。在发达国家却只占人们收入的10%到20%。因此，当粮食价格上涨，穷人首当其冲。
•
世上超过15亿人口每天只能靠着1到2美金过活。为了能够负担价格上涨的白米，他们别无选择地减少食用其他营养食物（例如蔬菜）。
•
世上超过10亿人口每天只能靠着1美金过活。粮食价格上涨，他们的对策相当无奈 - 减少进食。
•
每天只能靠着50美分过活的人们根本没有选择，他们一般在一周内只进数餐。世上约有40个国家正陷入严重饥荒。粮食危机将原本已经生活困窘的人们推向绝望边缘。其中儿童、孕妇、授乳中的母亲以及她们的孩子们是最为脆弱无助的一群。
为什么会发生粮食危机？
粮食危机并没有区域性。换言之，它是一个全球性危机。此项危机的形成原因广泛而复杂，其中包括：
•
粮食价格上涨：投机客把粮食交易当成可谋利的投资活动，导致小麦、黄豆、玉米及白米的价格居高不下。
•
粮食储备下降：过去数年的谷物欠收，导致各地政府及私人粮食储备大幅度下滑。
•
石油价格上涨：农产品成本，与石油相关的肥料价格以及粮食运输成本应声而起。
•
生化燃料的需求：种植可制作生化燃料的农产品比生产粮食更为有利可图。
世界宣明会的对策？
粮食危机并不能在朝夕之间被解决。世界宣明会因此而制定了短期及长期性策略，以应付不同时期的需求。
•
为营养不良的孩子及社群提供紧急粮食援助。
•
协助社群发展出长期粮食供应系统，自给自足。

粮食危机面对面
阿富汗：

卖女儿买粮食

阿富汗出现40年来最严寒的冬天，10万头家蓄因而死亡。加上粮食价格的普遍上涨，农人面对挨饿的家人和牲口，无奈地选择售卖女儿来抵债及购买粮食。有的小女孩只有7岁，就被迫离家，独自面对不可知的未来。 法蒂玛，11岁，刚刚被卖出去，成为了陌生人的新娘。她是家里第三个被卖出去的女儿。在这饱受战争和旱灾蹂躏的国度，卖女儿俨然成为了流离失所的人们抵债和购买粮食的方式。 "这并非我们所愿。我们原想等她长到起码20岁。但事不从人愿，环境逼人啊。" 法蒂玛的母亲说。法蒂玛的 "丈夫" 付了6千美金。"我们没有钱。粮食的价格高得吓人，为了购买粮食我们还得到处借贷。" 法蒂玛的母亲补充。

乔治亚：

孤儿院弃儿

在乔治亚，父母被迫将孩子遗弃在孤儿院，或其他可保证孩子温饱的机构。"这是我人生中最痛苦的决定，但却是我唯一的选择，否则，我的孩子只有死路一条。"玛丽娜拥有6名孩子，她的孩子们虽然都已经从孤儿院回家，但却每天生活在被再度遗弃的恐惧当中。

智利：

靠面包度日自2008年1月份起，智利的面包价格涨了2倍。单是买面包就花了单亲妈妈贝尔塔的四分之一收入。为了节省燃料，贝尔塔选择间隔一天煮食，同时不再购买鸡肉，只买骨头。"孩子会饿，虽然一切都涨价了，我还是得想法子喂饱他们。" 贝尔塔说。

塞内加尔：

等待丰收

为了抗议粮食价格居高不下，塞内加尔发生了连绵暴动和示威活动。然而，当回到现实，一般民众还是得想办法过日子。去年的农作物歉收，下一次的收成季节却还很遥远。玛丽迪奥夫 -- 6名孩子的母亲说，“我们还要等很久才会等到下一次的收成，日子真的越来越艰难了。”

两名美国世界宣明会同工到肯尼亚，与当地村民同住生活，并跟随他们的生活起居，甚至饮食。

公众的热烈反应大大地增强了我们的信心，于是决定在今年带着饥饿30营往前再跨一步：

关丹林明 - 看日出云海以及彩虹瀑布

TRIP : SUNGAI LEMBING LEARNING TRIP

刚从关丹林明回来. 一个有山有水的地方, 一个逃离城市压力的小镇.

林明镇有三多 - 摩托车多,英文路牌多,还有吊桥多.

相信美女也很多, 山城空气好太阳少, 小妞们都是白白的. 哈哈!!!

林明镇总共有六座吊桥,六间民宿与度假村,还有一个小到不得了的油站.

当地美食当数林明山水豆腐面最为著名.还有阿贤人情味到访过.

来到林明可别忘了带点当地土产-椰子饼回去.吃起来有点脆还有椰子香味.

林明主要景点有林明山(PANAROMA HILL), 彩虹瀑布(RAINBOW WATERFALL) ,查惹洞(GUA CHARAS), 班登瀑布(PANDAN WATERFALL), 锡矿博物馆(SG. LEMBING MUZIUM), 地下矿道(TUNNEL), 还有水晶屋(CRSYTAL HOUSE).

这一趟旅程去了很多地方, 如 TELUK CEMPEDAK 沙滩, 黑石沙滩, 蜡染制作厂(BATIK), 渔村, CHERATING 海龟博物馆, 还有其他没被列出的地方. 一路上还尝到了当地小吃如 SATA, OTAK-OTAK, KEROPOK LEKOR SEGERA, 枕头包和鲨鱼面.

路过太子金龙庙, 进去看看那2700尺的金龙.据说从龙尾走到龙头,再模龙珠,可以转运.不妨来试试看.兜了一圈, 发现这庙太商业化.

庙内还有个许愿钟. 许了愿将银角抛向钟, 愿望会成真. 我们的司机大佬连续击中十次. 真神!!!

重点行程 - 彩虹瀑布. 花了接近两小时才抵达. 全程包括乘坐改装罗里飞驰在崎岖山路, 然后又的森林徒步和攀爬大岩石才能到达彩虹瀑布. 非常的辛苦但又特别的刺激.

好凉好冷的山水, 直让人发抖, 牙齿打架. 哈哈!!!

林明山 - 一个看日出云海的地方. 总共大约有 291 meter. 还蛮难爬. 日出还真美. 云海也okok能看咯....... 还好啦.......... 别太嫌..........
